This site is a workspace for the developers of the DAQ software of
the ATLAS Pixel
Dectector. Its contents is expected to change rapidly. Altough some
information conained in these pages can be of interest for the external
world, the aim is to provide technical documentation to the software developers
and to the people running system tests or participating in test beam shifts. |
The main activity at the moment is the preparation for the Pixel Detector Large Scale System Test. This test will be performed at the SR building, starting in June-July 2005. More info on the on-going activities:
To stimulate the discussion and speed-up the development of the tools we need for the System Test we plan to organize session on specific topics at CERN. The sessions will be working sessions using (or building) the System Test setup. During the sessions we will organize phone conferences to allow those who are not at CERN to participate, This are the proposed dates, still to be discussed
SLC3 certification
SLC3 systems have been tested at CERN, in Genova and in Wuppertal. No particular problem has been noticed while using the Pixel DAQ software. Here is a (very) synthetic guide to the installation.
